Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog.

What the heck am I doing here?

This is a blog that I use to write about things that are important to me. My baby (literally), my adventures with technology (all kinds, from using computers, to phones, to offline stuff) and whatever else enters the picture. My plan for now is to keep the disparate topics discrete. While the topics covered will not be necessarily be connected (using cloth diapers has nothing to do with setting up a LAMP server), each topic in itself will have a fairly consistent thread or theme. I will also strive to group things with tags and categories so the interests will fall together in a natural way (hopefully!).

All of this means you will get what seems like some strange posts if you subscribe to the RSS feed of my blog (why does an RSS feed about Drupal have posts about nursery furniture?). Sorry about that but my intention is not to tickle the fancy of a single themed RSS feed. If I do write with any regularity about any topic, or topics, I might consider trying to figure out how to set up RSS for particular categories.

This is my blog and so this decision is mine to make. My goal in comment moderation is to keep the conversation civil, helpful and not let a heaping mass of negativity enter into things here. I could only wish that there is enough attention to my words here that I might need to employ comment moderation.

This page and this blog is a work in progress.

If this blog works out to be what I am starting out intending it to be, an ongoing journal/reporting medium for my important foci, I will probably have to add/change the about page in the future to reflect however this blog project is developing.

My life has taught me that things never go as planned.    : )
